Pebbles Beach
Pebbles Beach, located on the south-west corner of Barbados, is home to one of Barbados' turtle nesting areas. Swim here and you may end up alongside one of these magnificent creatures, who happily swim with you. By also being on the West Coast, it benefits from spectacular sunsets, as captured in this picture.

Three Houses Park
Three Houses Park, named after the three houses that originally sat on the site, is now one of only two national parks in Barbados. It is a 50 acre reserve that is used for family picnics and a place to unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of Bridgetown.

Foul Bay
The ironically named Foul Bay is one of Barbados' most spectacular beaches, situated on the East coast of the island facing the Atlantic Sea. The endless supply of rolling waves make it a haven for sports lovers who come here for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Bridgetown
Bridgetown, named after the bridge that straddles the river Careenage, is the capital of Barbados. It is home to several of Barbados' companies, and vibrant markets and shops, where local goods and traditional medicines mix with imported designer goods and duty free shops.

Cricket in the park
A set of images of Barbados would not be complete without an image of cricket. The national sport thrives in Barbados and is played almost continouslly in parks and on the beaches. The sport is so mixed with Barbados life that all of their major roundabouts take the name of famous cricketers.

Bay Street mixes vibrant nightlife with chilled out beachlife. Linking Bridgetown to the Yacht Club, Bay Street is home to one of Barbados' beach clubs Harbour Lights, and also family friendly beaches.
